In 2021, we will be bringing you a new series of solutions to enhance your experiences with your furkids. Lifestyle is an initiative where we bring together sustainable solutions in the pet supplies industry, and showcase lovely individuals who are making a change in our community.

Mako Draws

Have you ever wanted to get a portrait of your pet in a timeless digital copy? Now you can!

Mako Draws is a project by a Singaporean digital artist who illustrates digital portraits of your lovely furkids, and also donates all funds raised from each portrait to animal welfare groups.

In this charitable initiative, all breeds, shapes, sizes, ages and levels of floofiness will not go spared! You may also make special requests for each portrait, including the colour of the backdrop or scene. Digital pet portraits have never been as meaningful as before.

aNERDstore

Taking sustainable fashion and giving it a contemporary twist, aNERDstore focuses on batik wear. Batik is a traditional, wax-resist textile dyeing technique inscribed as part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Against the backdrop of fast fashion where classical batik patterns such as parang and kawung often get replicated in mass productions of cheaply-printed fabric, aNERDstore aims to preserve this intangible heritage by promoting the reinvention and evolution of the use and language of Batik in modern everyday lives to preserve its relevance.

Furthermore, all of the handiwork and materials are sourced in Indonesia, whilst ensuring fair, living wages and proper working conditions.
