Seng House is the latest addition to the cafe scene situated on 214 Tanjong Katong Road amongst other popular establishments such as Supernova and Little Rogue Cafe. Known for its extensive menu of Hainanese-style dishes and delectable specialty coffee. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas with an estimated 80-90 seats available for guests dining in.

The Space
Having a more industrial concept decked in white and green almost like a teal colour. There are both indoor and alfresco seating, with more than 25 tables set outdoors for you and your pups with dine together.
The Menu
Arriving at brunch time, we were craving for some pancakes and coffee. The breakfast menu begins from morning at 8AM until 5PM. We had the Pancake Stack ($14.8) and also the Wat Dan Hor ($24.8). The pancakes were fluffy and buttery with a sweet maple syrup to top it off. The Wat Dan Hor is similar to our traditional Hor Fun dishes, but with the additional tiger prawns, mussels, and squid tentacles. Other interesting food options include their Seng Breakfast Club ($20.8), Hainanese Pork Chop ($22.5), and also desserts such as the Donut Kiap ($10.8) where they encase a generous scoop of taro ice cream in a donut.
We also had their Iced White Coffee ($6) and Secret Mocha ($8). Their espresso-based coffees come with a nutty and medium-bodied roast that goes well in a black coffee or with your choice of milk. Their Secret series serves up cold brews that are both flavourful and delicious. In addition, they have Filter Coffees, Teas, Juices, Wines, Beers, and even Cocktails.
The Experience
This dog-friendly cafe at Tanjong Katong is spacious and accommodating with an extensive menu and delicious specialty coffee. The staff were very warm and welcoming with our dog and gave him a water bowl as soon as we arrived. The area was also kept very clean and we were happy to let our pup roll around and lay down on the ground. This is definitely one of our favourite dog-friendly coffee spots in the east!
