A Happy Dog After His Full Grooming Session At Pet Master Bedok

After building an extensive list of reliable and amazing Pet Groomers in Singapore, we decided to send Bagel, our golden retriever, to try out the Full Grooming package at one of Pet Master’s outlets at Bedok.
Pet Master is a popular pet supplies store with various amenities and facilities available at their Bedok, East Coast, and Simei outlets. They have recently opened their East Coast Park outlet at Parkland Green to provide the megastore experience to customers in Singapore. We sent Bagel to the longest serving outlet at Bedok for a detailed clean-up after a day at the beach.

The Filth
Our Furry Friend Wants To Join In Our Feast At The Beach
After an eventful day out at Tanjong Beach Club in the day, we were planning to send Bagel to the groomers for some thorough cleaning up to keep his fluff spanking clean. For dogs with luscious long locks like golden retrievers, swimming and running around at the beach area will always come with lots of sand and gunk stuck in between spots that are typically challenging to clean off of. Wet sand sticks to your dog’s fur and coat like greedy pups to dog treats. A day at the beach always warrants an immediate trip to a professional dog grooming service after so that we can keep our furkid’s skin and coat in good condition.

Full Grooming Complete!
There are generally two types of grooming service available to dog owners, Basic Grooming and Full Grooming. We opted for the more comprehensive Full Grooming service as we wanted to get our dog’s fur trimmed adequately. However, if your pup does not require a haircut or dematting, then the Basic Grooming option will be perfect for getting a wash & blow-dry, and those paw beans well kept.
Upon entering the bedok outlet, we made our way to the cashier counter to indicate our pre-booked appointment for the grooming session that day. You can call their outlet during operating hours to schedule an appointment, daily between 11AM and 9PM. The staff passed us a registration form to check-in our dog, and confirmed the service that we have signed up for.
Thereafter, Bagel was ushered to the grooming room, where the groomer would take over your dog and engage them in the first few minutes of the session to help them understand the dog’s temperament before they began with the shower. This was heartening for us as pet parents because it showed a humanistic approach to running this operation, and helped to put us at ease. There were also clarifications made by the grooming staff on the style of haircut and anything to take note of to ensure that we got what we expected in the process.
Afterwhich, we left Bagel in the trusty hands of the staff and went about our own activities before we got a call in about 90 minutes that we could pick him up from the store. It was a straightforward process that was fuss-free and hassle-free.

The staff at Pet Master were attentive and provided an extremely pleasant experience for us and our pup. There are processes to ensure that you have your booking confirmed, and also to register your furry friend before they take them in for the grooming session. This helps to give pet owners a peace of mind and an expected routine for a trip to the groomer’s.
In addition, Wendy, the groomer who attended to our dog, was great at explaining the various steps on getting our pup cleaned up. The Pet Master grooming team understands the importance of keeping your furry friend’s skin and coat clean. Matted fur and hot spots are commonly detected through a detailed grooming process, and can be treated quickly if discovered early. In our session, Wendy noticed certain areas on Bagel’s skin that were scabbing due to his allergies and prolonged itchiness. We were glad that she was detailed in her handling of Bagel and notified us when she was handing our dog over so that we could apply some pet balms to aid in recovery.
